Granny~ Yesterday was Ida's baby shower for Autie Rose. I wish you could have been there with us. I wrote a poem for Autie~ Autie Rose Poole A~ Autie was the name of my Fathers Grandmother, and my Great Grandmother. U~ Up in Heaven she is. T~ The meaning of her name was noble and strength. Now this special name belongs to me. I~ In time I will know all about this very wonderful women. E~ Even though she is not here, she will always be by my side protecting me. R~ Rose was the name of my Mothers Grandmother, and my Great Grandmother. O~ Oh what a wonderful loving women she was! S~ Striking beauty was the meaning of her name, and is now the meaning of mine. E~ Even though I have never met her, I will learn all about her someday. Within my garden there will always be these flowers that bloom, they will sweep through my life, as does a broom, cleaning all of the dust from each and every room. These flowers will brighten up all of my days, and they will carry laughter all along the way, these beautiful blossoms will be guiding me with their brightest ray. The first one is my Great Grandma Autie. I will learn some wonderful things about her along the way. Oh how she loved to read! She loved to work in her garden throughout the day. I hear she grew some amazing flowers. She was a very kind and loving women, our family would say. I can’t wait to meet her in Heaven someday. Then there was my Great Grandma Rosalie. She will always be close by, watching over me as I grow. I hope to meet her in Heaven one day, as you all know. I hear she was so beautiful, and a great cook as well. Her favorite flower was a yellow rose, maybe because of its beautiful smell. Granny thought the world of her family and her dog Ginger you see. She was very happy to hear my Mommy was expecting me. Before I was born, they chose another garden in which to grow in. They will always be a permanent part of my garden you know, they will always visit my garden just to add there amazing glow. This does my garden grow and I’m sure you can see, why there are no shadows that can linger you’ll agree, and why it is now and will always be that these flowers will forever be blooming just for me. This poem was written for my beautiful Niece, Autie Rose Poole. Love you ~ Aunt Jackie March 29, 2009 We all miss you very much
